Today our automated robocall system will begin calling parents and guardians when a student is marked absent from school. A robocall will not be sent if the parent has notified the office of their child’s absence through the Pardee absence line. We request that parents call the Pardee Absence line at 313-203-1466 before 9:30 am when their child is absent from school. Parents are encouraged to leave a message including the name of the student, the person making the call, and the reason for the absence on the absence line. The office will return calls as needed. We hope that this process will support improved communication between the school and the parents/guardians.

For tomorrow 11/11, Choice C selection will be nacho chips, cheese, and salsa.

Friday 10/29 - Halloween Information Attached

The Halloween Parade will be outside on 10/29: Parents/Guardians are welcome to our Halloween Parade that begins at 11:10. Students will walk in a line out the 1st/2nd-grade doors on Vassar. They will turn right on the sidewalk and walk down Annapolis. Once they get to Pardee, they will turn right and walk to the playground and enter the building by the 5th-grade doors.

If we have heavy rain, we will have to cancel the outdoor parade. It will be moved indoors but for students only. I will send a message on SEESAW if this happens. Thank you for understanding!

Students may wear their costumes to school (school appropriate: no blood or weapons.)
Parents should remain on the grass by the sidewalk.
Once the parade has finished. Dismissal will be at 11:30 and you can pick your children up from their normal doors.

If your child does not celebrate, please let your classroom teacher know for alternative activities.
